1. Superflux - Colour and Shape
Why this beer: Colour and Shape is one of my all-time favourite beers. If you’r a fan of a hazy beer style, it has slight Citra hop aromas but a very underrated crispy and refreshing finish. Honestly, the best of both worlds with tropical notes and bitterness!
When to enjoy it: I can personally enjoy this beer in the summertime. Wether you have finished a great day of golf or you’re spending a day on the boat at the lake, it can be appreciated anytime!
A great memory: A great memory that I think back on when I discuss this beer is enjoying one for the first time after my summer league soccer game. Very refreshing and rewarding, enjoyed by many laughs.
2. Strange Fellows - Krampus
Why this beer: The Krampus is a Belgian-style Abbey Dubbel that has an exceptional malty feel, yet not over powering dark body! Great pairing with meat as well as chocolate.
When to enjoy it: This is the perfect beer to hunker down inside by the warm fire on a cold winter night.
A great memory: A great memory I have drinking the Krampus happened when my family went to strange fellows and discovered it for the first time. It forever takes me back and reminds me of Christmas time and quality time together.
3. Backcountry Brewing - Widow-maker
Why this beer: The Widowmaker is always a go to! It is also a slight hoppy IPA that complements the juicy, tropical flavors you want after a long day's work. You can always find one in my hand.
When to enjoy it: A day at the lake or after a beautiful replenishing hike.
A great memory: It takes me back to a long hike in North Vancouver. I puckered down at the Tap and Barrel at Jack Pool Plaza on a roasting hot day on the patio and stared at the mountains suckering a nice refreshing pint of Backcountry's finest.
4. Brookswood Brewing - NEIPA
Why this beer: The NEIPA is a New England style India Pale Ale with a juicy pineapple finish. It has a medium hazy body that will sooth your soul.
When to enjoy it: Whenever you need to release stress and kick back with some friends, this NEIPA is always a great choice.
A great memory: I have a fond memory of drinking this beer this past summer out on the boat at the lake. We then continued back at the campsite with great people, a camp fire and some good songs all night long.
